The beauty of the “northern lights" inspired Tyler to paint "Northern Glow". Drilling rigs are often found remote northern areas and frequently the the drilling rig employees are able to enjoy the ever dancing northern lights. Northern lights is the name of a light phenomenon often seen in the northern regions. The scientific name for the phenomenon is “Aurora Borealis” or aurora for short.
